Integral Strategy Group is comprised of Art Haines, Principal and owner of the company and three associates: Anne McBride, Dana Carman and Geoff Fitch. Art Haines serves as a coach and consultant dedicated to strengthening his clients’ leadership and management skills, improving individual and team performance, and managing career transitions. His specific area of interest lies in creating leadership competency, performance management, and the culture required to consistently achieve exceptional operating results.
Over his more than 30-year career, Art has developed a strong track record performing functions ranging from strategic planning and marketing to $90 million operational accountability for clinical services, physician services and information technology. His high level positions included Vice President at Evergreen Healthcare in Kirkland, Washington, Corporate Director of Planning for Multicare Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, Director of Planning at the Washington State Hospital Association and Senior Associate with Executive Consulting Group in Seattle, Washington.
In 2002, Art left the world of corporate health care to focus his energy on individual and team performance. With three colleagues, he formed Integral Strategy Group to coach and consult with senior leaders, managers and leadership groups to achieve their full potential. His consulting clients have included hospitals, healthcare systems, dental practices, and physician groups. As an executive coach, Art works with senior executives in health care, human services, information technology, association management, and manufacturing. Applying his extensive experience and expertise to each of his consulting and coaching engagements, Art offers a results orientation approach that enables his clients to achieve bottom line results and greater professional and personal satisfaction.
Art has completed advanced training and been certified as an Integral Coach through New Ventures West, an executive coaching program certified by the International Coach Federation. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in economics from Pomona College and a Master’s degree in health care planning and administration from UCLA. As a clinical instructor at the University of Washington Health Service Administration master’s program, Art has taught graduate level courses in health care strategic planning and marketing. Art is a Diplomate in the American College of Heatlhcare Executives.
Art resides outside Seattle with his wife and two cats. His leisure activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking and backpacking, and in his quiet moments he enjoys photography and a wide variety of music.
Anne McBride brings a unique blend of talents, experience and competencies to bear on the needs of her clients. After earning her MBA at Boston University, Anne became a Certified Public Accountant and worked as a Senior Manager for Ernst and Young, where she specialized in healthcare finance. She later served as Chief Financial Officer of Evergreen Healthcare where her responsibilities included all the financial services functions, as well as medical staff affairs, information systems, risk management, managed care contracting and general service areas (environmental services, food services, plant operations, materials management and central service). Subsequent to her work in healthcare, she has assisted in the growth and development of small companies in air transportation and the environmental field. In her consulting practice, Anne integrates her financial acumen and managerial skills with her knowledge of the concepts of spiral dynamics, integral theory and dynamic organizational development to produce sustainable solutions to complex problems seen in most organizations. With her consulting clients, she brings forth a unique mixture of strong business principals with compassion related to the individual’s desire to be personally fulfilled at work. Anne resides in the Seattle area with her husband and daughter. Her interests include complementary and eastern medicine and the healing potential of personal exploration and human relationships.
Dana Carman brings together diverse leaders with dramatically opposing points of view and coaches and inspires them to form durable partnerships for the common good. These agreements have resulted in increased customer and employee satisfaction, reduced cycle time, increased profitability and a decrease in litigation and union grievances. Dana holds a degree in Education and Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont and has participated in post-graduate business studies at San Francisco State University. He lives outside Seattle, Washington with his wife, Sara and his two stepchildren. He is a passionate outdoorsman and spends his free time hiking and skiing in the Cascade Mountains.
Geoff Fitch has an 18-year career leading product development, brand management and marketing efforts in high-tech companies like Sun Microsystems, Adobe Systems and Rational Software. Geoff is a powerful strategic thinker, coach and mentor who has launched a multi-million dollar business and coached dozens of leaders in living more effective, meaningful lives. Geoff holds a degree in Computer Science from Boston University and has studied business, philosophy, psychology and spirituality, with post-graduate studies at Harvard University, Santa Clara University and Naropa University. Geoff lives in Issaquah, Washington, where he is an active parent to his two boys, Gavin and Liam.
